The
Project Ideas: Explore ways for the area Chambers of Commerce to creatively align in order to more proactively support the
Regional business community. In a
robust way this will establish strategic alliances to support the rural
landscape by creating an economic climate that enhances the viability of
working lands and conserves natural lands.
This will help existing places thrive by taking care of assets and
investments such as downtowns, Main Streets, existing infrastructure, and
places that the Community values, and create
great new places by building vibrant, enduring neighborhoods and communities
that people, especially young people, don’t want to leave.
The
Project Benefits: To realize that the benefits of strategic
alliances are not short-term and tactical but medium- to long-term and
strategic:
·
Better market
positioning
·
A larger market
share
·
A higher public
profile
·
Greater
political influence
·
Better
economies of scale
Ultimately
to guide a process that leads to the best possible results for the
organizations involved. These are the
likely, and substantial, benefits of strategic alliances, but they take time
and planning to realize. |
